GardenIQ is designed for complete privacy. You do not need to sign up or register to use the app. We do not ask for or store any personal information like your name, email, or password.
GardenIQ is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for a general audience. The app does not contain any objectionable, sensitive, or restricted content. All images and information used for plant identification are provided by the user and are processed solely for the purpose of generating identification results.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has submitted personal data through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Important: GardenIQ processes the images you upload for plant identification. Please ensure you do not upload photos containing people, documents, or any private or sensitive information. Only upload plant images intended for identification.
All data, including your plant identifications and related content, is stored only on your phone. We do not store any of it on our servers. If you uninstall the app, your data will be permanently deleted unless you have backed it up manually.
GardenIQ connects to a secure server only when you use the plant identification feature. The image you provide is temporarily sent to our AI model to analyze and return plant identification results.
Important: We do not store, log, or retain any images or user data on our servers. Once the AI returns the result, the image and data are discarded immediately. Your privacy is fully respected throughout this process. However, please do not upload any sensitive, personal, or private images, as the photos are temporarily shared with the AI model for analysis.
The app may request access to your camera or photo library solely to allow plant identification using images. These permissions are optional and only used for intended app features. No data leave your device.
We do not use any analytics, ads, or third-party tracking services. Your interactions with GardenIQ are private and never monitored or shared.
